Ett I stort sett färdigt blogginlägg var klart. Utläggning planerad idag. Men…det har försvunnit ut i molnen någonstans. Jag har ingen möjlighet att återskapa det utan hoppas det kommer tillbaka när vi har bättre nät igen. Så jag kan publicera det då I ställer. Känner mig ganska förtvivlad och ledsen. Men det är som det är….kan inte göra så mycket åt det.
A largely finished blog post was ready. Exposition planned today. But…it has disappeared into the clouds somewhere. I have no way to recreate it, but hope it will come back when we have better networks again. So I can publish it when you ask. Feeling quite despondent and sad. But it is what it is….can’t do much about it.
Så, nu har jag påbörjat ett nytt som är f o m idag. Och förhoppningsvis kan det publiceras snart. Även om sista dagarna på land, avsegling och första till sjöss saknas.
So, now I have started a new one which is f o m today. And hopefully it can be published soon. Although the last days on land, setting sail and first at sea are missing.

Vi har sjösatt, i lördags, efter mycket jobb med Vilja på land i 1 vecka. Det blev sedan två nätter i hamn med lite krångel med både immigration och företaget som fixat de certifikat vi behöver. Galapagos har extremt stränga regler med absolut allt.
We launched, last Saturday, after a lot of work with Vilja on land for 1 week. It was then two nights in port with a bit of hassle with both immigration and the company that fixed the certificates we need. Galapagos has extremely strict rules with absolutely everything.
08.15, måndag, lämnar vi kajen för en ca 10 dagar lång segling mot Galapagos. Första dygnet har vi fantastisk segling. Sedan blir det stiltje. Dag 2 med stiltje stoppar vi motorn och badar på 3000 meters djup i det fantastiskt blå havet. Stilla havet. Det är en fantastiskt härlig stund och vi njuter för fullt. Det enda är väl att vi saknar vind att segla i.
At 08.15, Monday, we leave the quay for an approx. 10-day sailing towards the Galapagos. The first day we have fantastic sailing. Then there is silence. Day 2 with stiltje, we stop the engine and swim at a depth of 3000 meters in the fantastic blue sea. The Pacific Ocean. It’s a fantastically wonderful moment and we’re enjoying it to the fullest. The only thing is that we lack wind to sail in.
Vi har varit ute i fem dagar nu och allt är bra. Vi går mycket för motor tyvärr. Stiljebältet ligger helt stilla så det finns ingen möjlighet att vänta ut det. Men nu seglar vi i alla fall. Kursen är inte rakt mot Galapagos utan så nära det går pga vindriktningen. Allt är jättebra ombord. Tyvärr ingen fisk ännu även om vi haft en del riktigt stora fiskar på linan. Det har rasslar ordentligt innan fiskarna simmat iväg med våra fiskedrag. Fast 50 kilo Blue Marlin har vi ingen chans att dra upp ändå
We have been out for five days now and all is well. Unfortunately, we go a lot for motor. The style belt is completely stationary so there is no possibility of waiting it out. But now we’re sailing anyway. The course is not straight towards the Galapagos but as close as possible due to the wind direction. Everything is great on board. Unfortunately no fish yet, although we had some really big fish on the line. It has rattled properly before the fishermen swam away with our fishing lures. Although 50 kilos of Blue Marlin, we have no chance of pulling up anyway
